Six days after tragically losing their son, a grieving Ghanaian family reached out for help. When Rob Allen, a CarePortal Church Responder from North River Church (FL), first met them, no one knew the full weight of their pain. ? ? What started with grief counseling and transportation needs turned into something so much deeper. The church walked alongside them—listening, praying, and providing support. Over time, this family, new to the U.S., found community, cultural guidance, and a place to belong. ? ?
