Of the Torch 500, the review notes, "It’s sturdily built and made of rugged materials. And its IP67 rating means it’s more resistant to dirt and moisture than any of our lantern picks." Our dog teams spend several months living in the woods, sharing a communal cook tent (White Duck Outdoors) and living out of their cars. This puts us closer to the areas we need to sniff and search & cuts down on commute times, but it's a challenge living in the woods for months at a time. ?? Each remote camp is solar-powered via GOAL ZERO & we upload our data daily via Starlink units from SpaceX. #Wildlife #FieldWork #DetectionDogs #LetsGoCamping ?? ?

Today, the sun will set at 8.39pm in Chinle, Arizona. That’s a lot of sunlight! But not every day is #summersolstice. Our solar project, Skip the Grid, alongside SOLV Energy, Nextracker Inc. and GOAL ZERO helps bring power to multiple districts across Navajo Nation. It brings renewable energy to homes, offering essential electricity where it's needed most. This effort empowers individuals long after sunset, enabling continued learning and creativity, and helping bridge the education gap experienced by rural indigenous communities. Fort Desolation Fest 2024 is in the books and it was such a great time this weekend. Goal Zero powered the off-grid campground stage for the after-hours shows as well as morning yoga classes. We loved meeting so many attendees who stopped by to charge a phone or play some crush light pong. Thank you Fort Desolation for having us back!
