It was a slice of Bay Area history and a fantastic evening, at a very cool venue -- Goal Line Studios, commemorating Stan Bunger's "Mornings with Madden" book launch and revisiting iconic soundbites from his tenure on KCBS All News Radio's morning broadcasts. There was solid line-up for this fireside chat with the likes of Stan Bunger, Steve Marriucci, Joe Madden, Peyton Manning, and other special guests sharing their commentary. John Madden is synonymous with football. He was the television face and voice of the nation’s most popular sport, the namesake of its best-selling sports video game, and the man with the highest career winning percentage of any NFL coach. A truly wonderful evening celebrating Stan Bunger's "Mornings with Madden" book launch and recalling and playing back legendary soundbites from the many years my dad was a part of KCBS's on air morning broadcasts for the enthusiasts that attended! If you are a fan of John Madden, you will want this book!

A very special night yesterday celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Pleasanton's own, Back-to-Back 1993-1994 NCS Football Champions, Foothill Falcons. Great speeches from Head Coach Matt Sweeney and Coaching Assistant Carl Marsh who collectively coached the varsity program for over 50 years. The players, now in their mid to late 40's, some with wives and their children present, shined once again with their heartfelt thanks to their coaches. The highlight reel from their 1994 season was narrated by the legendary NFL Broadcast Crew of Pat Summerall and John Madden. The evening was truly, EPIC.
