Morning, I'd love it if you'd follow our page as we continue to build it and provide more posts to help you get GO!ng again ... I'm so fortunate to be working at GO! Physical Therapy Eugene with Eric where we go above & beyond to provide you with a personalized PT experience that works for YOU. Eric changed my life in 2022 when I tore the meniscus in my right knee and was told by a Dr at Slocum that there wasn't much they could do, surgery wasn't an option and eventually I'd just need a knee replacement. In the meantime, he referred me to PT. I was hopeless, in a lot of pain and kinda cranky. I'd done PT before & it was useless because it was just a bunch of exercises I couldn't (or wouldn't) do. I was 265 pounds and really out of shape. I'm a long time patient of Tracy & Keim Chiropractic LLC where GO! Physical Therapy Eugene is located. I noticed they had added a PT and I happened to need one, trusting Dr. Keim I knew if he brought in this PT, it was worth making an appointment. My first visit, I knew Eric was different - he met me where I was. He saw me, he listened and he gave me hope. He wasn't just some cookie cutter PT that treated every meniscus tear the same, he asked questions and he listened to my answers. He worked with me. He developed a treatment plan that I could do and when I couldn't or I didn't like it, he modified it without making me feel bad. He encouraged & cheered me on week after week, he worked on my knee but he also taught me how important core strength and stretching are. I started feeling stronger and more confident with less pain. Before long, I decided I could get GO!ng again and added walking to my HEP (Home Exercise Program). Then water aerobics and more difficult exercises that I did religiously. Eric was my biggest fan and he was so excited for me, he believed in me like no one ever has. In 8 months, I lost 125 pounds (following Healthy Keto) and changed my entire life. No more knee pain - no more pain period. I worked hard, I changed my eating habits and I put myself first daily working out, walking, water aerobics, etc. Now, over a year later - I've kept the weight off and I get to help & encourage others to heal their bodies one small step at a time in a way that works for them.
