This past weekend, I had the privilege of curating and hosting the 4Mula Summit with my Cohort 4 through the Go Dark program! The summit was designed to give college students valuable insights into the entertainment industry through engaging panels and hands-on workshops. I had the honor of hosting the Networking Panel, where I connected with top entertainment professionals such as @cortezbryant SetBySkye @troycarterjr Johannes Escobar ! It was a phenomenal experience that allowed me to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully. In addition to hosting, I served on the Marketing and Talent Booking teams for the summit. In these roles, I developed targeted marketing campaigns, coordinated with industry talent, and ensured seamless communication across all teams to make the event a success. This past weekend, my Go Dark cohort and I had the incredible opportunity to host the 4Mula Summit! This event was designed to give college students and young adults passionate about the music and entertainment industry a platform to connect and network amongst each other. Also to gain valuable insights from industry professionals. I had the privilege of serving as both project manager and graphic designer for the summit. In my role as project manager, I oversaw event planning, managed timelines, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. As the graphic designer, I created all event graphics—from the logo and T-shirt design to the photo booth backdrop and event slides—bringing cohesive branding to life. This experience was a valuable lesson in multitasking, team coordination, and the importance of unified branding. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible, especially our program directors Kyle Campbell and, Imani C., and each panelist who dedicated their time and expertise.
