We’re thrilled that Dr. Justin Hawkins will be leading our first fall workshop on September 14, The Good Life in the Good World! Our world is broken, but it is still good and beautiful because a good and loving God made it so. How do we experience - and help all people to experience - the good life when there’s so much brokenness around us? Justin has a PhD from Yale University & is currently a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at Columbia University. His research interests include virtue ethics, disability theory, bioethical questions related to Down Syndrome, and the dignity of persons with profound cognitive disabilities. 关于我们
The Good Neighbor Project was founded in 2023 after watching and experiencing the division and disillusionment of our communities in recent years, and believing that a better way forward is found in following the call to love God and our neighbors. We are convinced it is possible to renew our communities - to restore hope and flourishing by practicing hospitality, compassion, and justice with our neighbors, and pursuing the peace and prosperity of all people and places. We offer a leadership and discipleship program for young professionals who want to take seriously the call to love God and their neighbors. gnplancaster.org/fellowship

Division over big and little topics are rampant in today’s culture, often amplified by social media and news outlets.?How can we engage in difficult dialogues in ways that are thoughtful, profitable, and bridge-building? Join us for our workshop on April 6 as we look at guiding Biblical principles for approaching controversial topics as disciples of Christ called to love others and pursue the “peace and prosperity” of our city.
