We’re proud to highlight the remarkable journey of Revivicor, a pioneer in producing xeno-organs from gene-edited pigs to help overcome the critical shortage of tolerable, transplantable organs. One promising path forward to expand the number of transplantable organs at scale for patients who need them is to source them from other animals. This is called xenotransplantation. Democracy is beautiful. Though it gets heated, fuels arguments, debates, and feels as if we live in a divided country during elections, this is only possible with a representative democracy. This is great, healthy, and a privilege. There would be no debates, no decisions to be influenced, and no (real) votes to be earned or cast if we lived under the silencing reign of a one-party socialist republic or communist state. Whether your preferred candidate wins or loses, realize we're lucky to live in a country where the people choose, despite the impending doom promised or perceived on both sides. Democracy enables the internal clash and permits us to voice our opinions. These same actions under oppressive rule would result in death or imprisonment, yet we can yell, petition, talk trash if that's your thing, or hold signs without the fear of prosecution - that's beautiful.
