Better Late Than Never—Celebrating Our Outstanding Employees of the Quarter! We may be a little late, but we couldn’t let 2024 pass without recognizing our incredible Employees of the Quarter for Q3 and Q4! ? Ariana L. - Ariana continues to be a strong mentor for new case managers and a reliable co-worker to seasoned case managers. She has taken on additional duties to assist our department in a time of being short staffed and has been a go to with understanding Evergreen. She doesn't turn others away and is always willing to help in any way she can. She does not hesitate to ask questions and doesn't shy away from what some people may consider challenging situations. She always finds an answer. Her caseload enjoys working with her and have all built a strong sense of trust with her. ? Congress is considering cuts to Medicaid, and if they pass, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) could lose critical services that support their independence, safety, and well-being. Medicaid funds essential programs like: ?? In-home support that helps people with IDD live independently instead of in institutions ?? Day programs & employment services that provide meaningful activities and jobs ?? Personal care assistance that helps with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and eating Without Medicaid, many individuals with IDD could lose the supports they rely on, forcing families into crisis and putting people at risk of losing their homes and jobs.
