The facility features a 75,100 SF warehouse, a 38,800 SF freezer, a 24,300 SF cooler, and an 18,000 SF cold dock. Located in Houma, Louisiana, the facility services PFG’s restaurant and hospitality customers across the state, as well as Mississippi. Additional facility features include an 11,300 SF battery charging station, 32’ clear height, 22 dock positions, and an industrial freon refrigeration system. The addition of a 41,250 SF controlled-environment warehouse, a 2,000 SF draught cooler, and 32’ clear height will significantly increase the company’s distribution capabilities. The facility also includes a 21,000 SF corporate office with a 5,600 SF hospitality room and?employee amenities. The custom-designed reception area greets guests with branded elements, including a logo cutout and color-coordinated features. The stunning bar features tambour wood paneling, quartz countertops, and handpicked artisan tile flooring. These personalized features create a bright and collaborative workspace for the Wayne Densch team,?seamlessly blending work and play. This 80-unit multifamily complex offers residents an array of amenities, including a 1,685 SF fitness center, a game room, bike storage, a 1,340 SF lobby with a lounge and hospitality area, and direct access to the city's walking path system. GMA Design Group recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a cold storage facility expansion in collaboration with ARCO National Construction Company for Weeks Food Corp., a fifth-generation, family-owned and operated wholesale food distributor. The expansion will add 21,515 SF of temperature-controlled space to the company’s current meat distribution facility in Richmond, Michigan. The project will enhance the company’s next-day service of top-quality beef, pork, poultry, seafood, and additional frozen food products while also supplying fresh chicken to KFC and Popeye’s locations across Michigan and Northern Ohio. Once complete, the expansion will include a 10,231 SF 34°F-36°F cooler, 6,232 SF 36°F cold dock, and 4,795 SF -10°F freezer. Having nearly doubled the leading beer distributor’s presence in the local market, the project was awarded the 2024 CoStar Group Impact Award for Pittsburgh Commercial Development of the Year, recognizing its significant contribution to the region. ? Facility features include a 211,647 SF controlled-environment warehouse, a 29,783 SF draught cooler, a 21,833 SF ambient warehouse, a 14,356 SF POS area, an 8,680 SF truck maintenance building, and a 28,666 SF office. We are excited to announce that GMA Design Group has partnered with ARCO National Construction Company to complete a state-of-the-art cold storage facility for Cypress Cold Storage in Springdale, Arkansas. The 207,285 SF state-of-the-art facility with advanced refrigeration and freezing technology showcases GMA’s extensive cold storage experience and expertise. Facility features include over 170,000 SF of temperature-controlled space, equipped with 252 Tippman QFM quick freeze blast modules and multiple convertible freezers capable of accommodating a range of temperature requirements from -5°F to 28°F. The freezer space has a clear height of 34’6” and includes max density racking, allowing for more than 22,000 pallet positions. Additionally, the facility houses an 8,450 SF office, designed with clean aesthetics, blue tones, and wood accents to create a warm atmosphere.
