?? GlyGen Webinar Series - February Session ?? We are excited to announce our upcoming webinar on: Research, Collaboration, Service and Training at the Complex Carbohydrate RES Ctr By Dr. Parastoo Azadi from The University of Georgia, Athens ?? Date: February 4, 2025 ? Time: 10 AM EST Add to Calendar: - Google Calendar: https://lnkd.in/g5JwbvZC - Outlook Calendar: https://lnkd.in/givH83HM Dr. Azadi will discuss how the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) integrates research, collaboration, and training to develop tools for the structural characterization of glycoconjugates. These include polysaccharides, glycoproteins, and glycolipids, utilizing mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The session will highlight how these tools support the broader scientific community through collaborative efforts and training programs. Don't miss this opportunity to gain insights from industry leaders and explore new collaborative possibilities! ?? Also, make sure to check out our January webinar details here: https://lnkd.in/gTTW2VqE Stay tuned and join us!

Shortly following the new release of GlyCosmos, here is AT LAST the first episode of our new GlyConnect season!! We have now a REAL search engine and the option of visualising entities and how they are glyconnected! Stay tuned for the next episode (early 2025) which will entail a substantial amount of new data Thanks to SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics for support

U24 BiomarkerKB Project Launch! We’re excited to announce that Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE) Data Coordinating Centers (DCCs), including GlyGen (GW, Georgetown, UGA), Metabolomics Workbench (UC, San Diego), IDG (New Mexico), and Early Detection Research Network (Caltech), have secured a 3-year U24 grant from the NIH Common Fund for the BiomarkerKB project! This initiative, led by George Washington University, aims to enhance biomarker impact and data sharing, particularly focusing on glycan-based biomarkers. Project Goals:? ·????????Develop a community-driven biomarker data model.? ·????????Collect and harmonize biomarkers from public sources.? ·????????Improve accessibility and usability of biomarker data using the web portal and APIs.? ?? Our primary objective is to create a comprehensive resource containing biomarker data, making this information more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). Glycan and protein biomarkers will be integrated into the GlyGen portal and linked with other GlyGen information.? ?? As part of this initiative, we are dedicated to expanding glycan biomarker content through GlyGen, a crucial step toward advancing biomarker research. Glycans play a pivotal role in biological processes; understanding them is key to disease detection and treatment breakthroughs.? ?? Explore our current capabilities here: https://lnkd.in/ecSkkTpB ? Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this transformative journey in #BiomarkerResearch and #Glycans! ?? #BiomarkerKB #GlyGen #NIH_CFDE #NIH_CommonFund #Biotech #NIH DruggableGenome IDG NCI Division of Cancer Prevention
