GNOme manuscript published! Exciting News in Glycoscience! We are thrilled to announce the publication of "GNOme, an ontology for glycan naming and subsumption" in the Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry special issue "Current Progress in Glycosciences and Glycobioinformatics". Authored by Nathan Edwards, Wenjin Zhang and Michelle Vesser, this work introduces the GlyGen affiliated GNOme project, a novel ontology that organizes glycan structures according to their degree of characterization to facilitate automated reasoning and interactive browsing of GlyTouCan accessions. GNOme can be found at https://gnome.glyomics.org/?and integrated with GlyGen. Key Highlights: * GNOme is part of the OBO Foundry and is integrated with platforms like GlyGen and GlyCosmos. * It simplifies glycan discovery by categorizing structures based on their degree of characterization. * The interactive GNOme Structure Browser provides an intuitive way to explore glycans visually.
