    "To me, the key to generating content ideas is keeping an open mind that the idea could come from ANYTHING," said Carole Rabaa, cofounder, product manager and former product designer. Rabaa further explained to our marketing team as follows: "It’s hard to pin down a specific creative process for content creation, however I discovered a few tricks that help generate original content that appeals to my audience. I try to keep my content focused on certain areas that I know my audience likes engaging with. In my case that’s design, business development, personal experiences and entrepreneurship. To me, the key to generating content ideas is keeping an open mind that the idea could come from ANYTHING. A little detail that I noticed, an insightful conversation I had, something I recently learned, a funny situation. So it doesn’t always come off as complex content filled with scientific data, rather a genuine and unique message that I want to share. What I find a constant success when drafting a LinkedIn post is having a strong hook line that the reader simply can’t skip. Something along the lines of “This is how I won a million dollars by clicking the wrong button!” or “LAZINESS SAVED MY PROJECT!”. With a strong hook-line, the reader is always tempted to press the (read more) button to get to the bottom of that story. What I also find very helpful is sectioning the body paragraph so I can reveal the message step by step and engage the reader for a longer time. I try to keep the “big reveal” or highlight of the post to the very end. I usually end the post with a sarcastic sentence that relates back to how the story/post started, a quirky summary of the moral of the story or a simple advice. It’s also very useful to engage the readers by asking a relatable question or encourage them to write their opinions in the comments. That’s basically what works for me, but I’m sure that the secret sauce to the success of any content creator is the personalized touch that they’re able to maintain throughout their content."
