The U.S. Department of Education Just Turned Its Back on Trans Students in Arizona Education Action Alliance filed a Title IX complaint against Liberty Elementary School District after they refused to support and acknowledge transgender students. Now, the Department of Education has dismissed the complaint, failing to uphold protections for all students. We need strong local leadership to fight against policies that exclude and discriminate. URGENT: Trans youth deserve care. Phoenix Children’s Hospital has indefinitely paused gender-affirming care for minors following an illegal and discriminatory executive order. This is a direct attack on trans youth and their right to medically necessary care. ?? Gender-affirming care is lifesaving. ?? Trans youth deserve dignity and support. ?? We will not back down. We call on Arizona’s leaders, lawmakers, and healthcare professionals to protect the rights of trans youth and ensure access to affirming care. ?????
