Happy Work-Site-Wednesday! Today, while the crew from Mandere Construction Inc, Rathdrum ID was framing the building, CR Concrete was busy pouring the slab on grade for the rebuild of Sety's Ace Hardware. After a fire destroyed the original building last year, the Sety family worked with Architects West. to preserve the historic charm of the site by retaining the iconic brick facade of the old Yale Hotel. GLR is proud to have worked with Architects West and the design team on this building in Malden, WA. It plays an important role in the community by housing the town’s fire station, town hall and post office. The structure utilizes wood framing, including large timbers over the entry, and reinforced concrete masonry units at the apparatus bays.
