It was so fun to represent Glossbird at The Game Awards with the team & friends! Met all kinds of cool people and got the word out there for our studio and upcoming game (steam page coming soon)! Plus it was a real treat to see many of my heroes in one place; Sam Lake, Kojima, Todd, and of course Statler & Waldorf, and to celebrate with them the game industry, big and small. The rise of cosy/cozy games is finally upon us! (Just like we said it would be ;-) )
The BBC reports on the positive mental health effects of Cosy Gaming. Cosy games focus on daily routines, community-building, or solving mysteries, rather than combat and competition. They often involve playing in a relaxed setting, with players using lights and blankets to create a comforting atmosphere. The culture includes social interactions where players share their setups (whole environments designed to enhance the game play experience) as an additive part of the play and community connections.
