?? This Thanksgiving, we celebrate not only the blessings we share but also the power of connection. At the heart of every thriving community is a shared purpose — coming together to support causes that matter. As we reflect on what we’re thankful for, we remember that true gratitude is shown through action: connecting with others, supporting meaningful causes, and uplifting our global community. Here’s to giving thanks for the impact we make together, and to the connections that help us all grow. ??

The #PublicPolicyNewVoices Fellows were honored to host our very own Aubrey Cox Ottenstein, CEO of Globally, for the 2024 cohort’s fifth Building Blocks session, focused on Conflict Management. Before founding Globally, Aubrey spent nearly six years at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), initially working in the Center for the Middle East and Africa and later in the Center for Applied Conflict Transformation. She went on to launch and lead USIP’s youth peace and security portfolio, a groundbreaking initiative to amplify youth involvement in global peace efforts. Aubrey shared her extensive experience and insights in facilitating complex dialogues, guiding us through different approaches to conflict, outlining the strengths and challenges of each style. In this session, Fellows learned practical skills for managing tension, navigating disagreements, and fostering productive outcomes in their studies, careers, and personal lives. Thank you, Aubrey, for sharing your knowledge and expertise with our 2024 PPNV Fellows!
