“Embrace your strengths, find your path.” – David M. R. Covey Leading effectively in today’s global landscape requires more than just strategic thinking—it demands a personal commitment to continuous improvement and leadership. David Covey, son of Dr. Stephen R. Covey and an accomplished author and entrepreneur, shared his wisdom with us last Friday in our Global Hub class. Here’s what we learned from his journey: ? Embrace Your Natural Strengths: Focus on what you are passionate about and integrate it into your career. ? Proactive Leadership: Take responsibility for your life. You are the leader of your own journey. ? Visionary Planning: Begin with the end in mind. Set clear, actionable goals. ? Cultivate Win-Win Situations: Strive for outcomes that benefit all parties, building trust and cooperation. ? Effective Communication: Listen with the intent to understand, not to reply, enhancing your influence and understanding. David’s path—from serving a mission in England to earning an MBA at Harvard, and leading global initiatives at FranklinCovey and founding SMCovey, LLC—illustrates that success stems from a willingness to learn, adapt, and truly connect with people across all walks of life. ?? “Leadership is not about managing people, but about clearing the path for them to succeed.” ?? “Step out of your comfort zone and engage with a variety of experiences to unlock your full potential.” Thank you, David, for a truly inspiring session! How are you leveraging your unique strengths to meet the challenges of the global market? ??? #Leadership #GlobalBusiness #CareerGrowth #PersonalDevelopment #Entrepreneurship

Yesterday we had the opportunity to learn from AJ Wilcox!! AJ runs an ad agency B2Linked | LinkedIn Ads Performance Agency and is host of the podcast The LinkedIN Ads Show! Here are a few things we learned from AJ: ?? Don’t sleep on personal LinkedIN profiles. Posts will get more interactions when coming from a personal profile than a company profile. ?? LinkedIN ads are effective in a way that meta and google ads can’t be because LinkedIN ads use professional data to reach the target audience. ?? LinkedIN has over 1 billion users worldwide. To avoid early pitfalls due to communication issues, connect first with professionals in countries with your same language. ??When putting out ads to other countries, LinkedIN can automatically find the translation of the job title you are looking to reach in that country. Thanks for coming, AJ!
