High Energy Costs – European industries still struggle with energy prices far above U.S. levels, making manufacturing less competitive. ? Regulatory and Fiscal Uncertainty – Governments across the EU are failing to deliver the bold reforms businesses need. ? Trade Tensions – With looming tariffs from the U.S. and retaliatory measures from the EU, cross-border business uncertainty is rising. ? Industrial Slowdown – Europe’s manufacturing sector remains 10% below pre-pandemic levels, hit hard by competition from #China and global supply chain shifts. ???????? ???????? ???????????? ???? ???? ?????????? ????? ? Energy & Infrastructure Investment – The EU must lower #energy #costs and accelerate #green-energy investments that enhance competitiveness rather than burden businesses. ? Pro-growth policy #Reforms: Simplify regulations, cut bureaucracy, and encourage private-sector innovation in #AI, #Biotech, #Space, #Military (very much needed), and #green tech. ? Capital Markets Union—European businesses need stronger financial markets like U.S. ones to attract more #investment. ? #Talent & Digital Economy Focus – Retain and attract top global talent while fast-tracking digital #transformation in industries beyond tech giants. ? Stronger Trade Strategy—To secure fairer and more open market access, the EU should lead in global trade #negotiations rather than engage in reactive protectionism.
