"The most transformational learning for me has been how to be and feel present and the impact this creates for me and others, this will change everything" Feedback from this weeks 2 day workshop really emphasised the importance of the ability to be present as essential in leadership. But why does this matter? Being present shapes how people perceive, trust, and respond to you. A leader with strong presence creates confidence, clarity, and connection, which directly impacts their ability to influence and inspire others. Horses are powerful teachers of presence in leadership development because they respond to energy, intention, and nonverbal communication in real time. Here’s how they help us cultivate presence: Immediate Feedback?– Horses react honestly to your energy, clarity, and consistency. If you are distracted, uncertain, or incongruent, the horse will not respond effectively. This instant feedback helps you develop greater self-awareness. Nonverbal Communication?– Since horses don’t rely on words, they allow you to be more mindful of their body language, tone, and emotions. This enhances presence by shifting the focus from what is said to how it is conveyed. Emotional Regulation?– Horses mirror human emotions. If you are anxious, the horse will reflect that. You have the opportunity to learn to regulate your emotions and stay grounded, which enhances your ability to stay present in high-pressure situations. Building Trust and Connection?– Horses do not follow positional authority; they follow when you exhibit calm confidence, clarity, and trustworthiness. This teaches you to cultivate authentic presence rather than relying on titles or force. Focus and Mindfulness?– To engage with a horse, you must be fully present in the moment. Any distraction or overthinking causes disconnection, reinforcing the importance of mindfulness in effective leadership. Thank you to the horses for all that you continue to teach us and Bonita and I sharing a moment together in the sun. Global Warriors Ltd

This #WorldSleepDay, let’s talk about the relationship between leadership and rest. We often think of leadership as a test of endurance—pushing through long hours, making high-stakes decisions, and staying ahead of the curve. But what if the real key to high performance isn’t doing more, but resting better? Research shows that sleep fuels the very qualities that make great leaders: ?? Creative problem-solving ??? Strong communication ?? Sharp decision-making ?? Emotional intelligence ? Energy & resilience Yet, nearly two-thirds of leaders report a sleep gap—getting almost an hour less per night than they need to perform at their best. Over time, this “sleep debt” leads to lower focus, impaired memory, reduced collaboration, and compromised judgment—the very things leaders need most. It’s time to flip the script on rest and productivity. Instead of seeing sleep as a luxury, let’s recognise it as a leadership tool. For more ways to make rest a strategic advantage, check out our article: https://lnkd.in/gzXscJ8b #rest #leadership #resilience #energy #impact Source: https://lnkd.in/gEqp9TsJ

One of the most powerful outcomes of women’s leadership development isn’t just gaining new skills—it’s learning to trust yourself. In our women’s development programs, women leaders step into spaces where they can challenge self-doubt, own their voices, and take bold action—without waiting for permission. Because real leadership isn’t about gaining all the answers, it’s about realising they were within you the whole time. Thank you, Eileen Burgh, for sharing your experience. We’re living in a time where division is deepening, perspectives feel more polarised than ever, and the noise of conflict can drown out our shared humanity. It’s easy to love when we’re surrounded by people who think like us, validate us, and recognise our efforts. But what about when we meet absolute difference? Loving beyond means holding that bigger, higher energy of love—even when understanding feels out of reach. It means staying grounded in our values when the world pushes us toward fear, anger, or cynicism. It means leading with integrity, even when the credit isn’t there. In moments of uncertainty, we can either retreat or rise. Choosing love—active, courageous, and relentless love—isn’t about passivity. It’s about choosing inclusion over division, action over apathy, and humanity over fear. So as the world grows louder and more divided, let’s commit to something deeper. Let’s choose to keep showing up. Let’s lead with love, even when it’s hard. Let’s keep listening, learning, and holding space for the conversations that matter. Because in the end, love is an action, a practice, a choice we make every day. And the more we choose it, the more we create the world we want to see. #lovingbeyond #compassion #loveinaction #leadership #chooselove

  • Happy #InternationalWomensDay from our warriors to the warriors within all of you. ?? For this year’s theme of Accelerate Action, we’re celebrating the power of trusting yourself to take action, even when the path is uncertain. Change doesn’t happen by waiting for permission. It happens when women take risks, challenge the barriers in front of them, and trust in their own power to move forward. We see this every day through the incredible women we help step into their leadership, challenge norms, and redefine what’s possible – as well as the inspiring women we’re lucky to work alongside. ??For our warrior Shilpa Batra PCC, ORSCC, her moment of action came when she realised she was being overlooked for leadership roles despite leading critical projects. Instead of waiting for recognition, she took the leap and applied for a role that valued her whole self. That decision reshaped her career and allowed her to mentor other women in building workplaces where talent—not gender—determines growth. As Shilpa says: “Change doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when women dare and trust themselves.” ??And for our warrior Saralyn Hodgkin, accelerating action means shutting out the external noise and listening to her own instincts. Whether launching her own business or challenging assumptions about her body, she learned that real growth comes from trusting yourself. “For me, it’s about tuning in, clearing the noise, and trusting that I know what’s right for me,” Saralyn says. “Nobody else gets to decide my path—only I do.” This is what accelerating action looks like: moving forward despite fear, doubt, or expectations. It’s about claiming space, championing inclusion, and showing up fully—no matter what the world says. Today, we celebrate every woman who has dared to take action, and we challenge each of you: What’s one step you can take today toward the future you want? Let’s keep pushing forward—together. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction

  • As we approach #InternationalWomenDay, we’re reflecting on what it truly means to #AccelerateAction. Taking bold steps, trusting ourselves, and creating space for others to rise alongside us—this is how we drive real change. • In times of uncertainty, when the world feels chaotic and the noise around us grows louder, how do we know what to trust? At Global Warriors, we believe that in those moments, the most important trust you can build is with yourself. Your intuition and your values are your inner compass and your north star. Instead of looking outward for all the answers, lean in. Listen to that inner voice. It may not always lead to the easiest path, but it will guide you to the right one. As we approach International Women’s Day and this year’s theme of Accelerate Action, this is a powerful reminder—we already have what we need to navigate uncertainty, take action, promote inclusion and create change as individuals and a collective movement. ?? Watch as our CEO, Biba Binotti, shares why trusting yourself is the foundation of leadership, impact, and progress. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #TrustYourself #WomenWhoLead #GlobalWarriors #WomensLeadershipDevelopment

  • What’s stopping you from taking action? We all have moments when we hesitate before making a move. Maybe it’s the fear of failing, the pressure to get it just right, or the worry about how others might react. But here’s the truth—every bold step forward starts with trust. Trust in yourself, your voice, and your ability to navigate whatever comes next. So, what holds you back the most? Drop your answer in the comments ?? and let’s start a conversation about how to move through it. #fearoffailure #perfectionism #selftrust #peoplepleasing #leadership #leadershipdevelopment

  • Trust starts at the top. Organisational trust isn’t built through policies or mission statements—it’s built through leadership that is honest, transparent, and consistent. People don’t just want to hear the wins; they need to understand the challenges, the why behind decisions, and where the organisation is headed. When leadership shares openly, employees feel valued, engaged, and empowered to contribute. On the flip side, when information is withheld, when decisions feel unpredictable, or when leaders say one thing but do another, trust erodes fast. Honesty—with discernment—builds credibility. Transparency fosters alignment. And when people trust their organisation, they bring their best to their work. To explore how organisational trust, team trust, and self-trust all work together check out our latest blog, and take the corresponding quiz to see which could use your focus: https://lnkd.in/gncxdimc #organisationaltrust #transparency #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #trustbuilding

  • A high-trust team isn’t just a group that works well together; it’s a team where people feel safe to speak up, take risks, and rely on one another. It’s knowing that when someone says, I’ve got this—they truly do. And when things don’t go as planned, there’s space to learn instead of blame. Building team trust can look like: ?? Following through on commitments, big and small. ?? Creating space for real conversations, even when they’re tough. ?? Offering support—not just when it’s convenient, but when it’s needed. ?? Trusting each other enough to ask for help. At its core, trust is built through action. What traits of trust are showing up in your team? ?? We’ve just released a blog that breaks down the three areas of trust that transform teams—plus a quiz to help you discover which area needs your focus. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gncxdimc #teamtrust #trustquiz #trustbuilding #buildingtrust #leadershipdevelopment #leadership #communication #accountability
