Happy New Year! Reflecting on 2024, I'm so grateful for the partnerships that drove real impact and look forward to more collaboration in 2025. ? It’s been an honor supporting Sarah E. Morgenthau and Under Secretary Jose W. Fernandez in securing U.S. commercial interests and strengthening global supply chain resilience. A big thank you to Bloomberg News and other media partners for spotlighting our work. ? There is so much the Departments of State and Commerce do behind the scenes to support U.S. economic security. Such a privilege working with Jim Golsen, Danica R. Starks, and their teams. If you haven't heard of the International Trade Administration’s Advocacy Center, look into this incredible resource helping companies secure billions in export wins. ? When it comes to foreign policy formulation, the private sector must have a seat at the table. Kudos to Meridian International Center (Puru P. Trivedi, Brandon Soloski, Rodrigo Moreschi) for facilitating vital conversations on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in international markets. ? Also grateful for partnerships with the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), United States Council for International Business (USCIB), U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce helping promote equitable access to tools and resources. ? Many businesses are unaware of the (often free) government programs designed to support them. My former boss, Dilawar Syed, continues to spread the word—recently in my hometown of Boise—about the U.S. Small Business Administration's resources for 34+ million U.S. small businesses. ? This year, I also joined the board of Global Ties Idaho and got to support Trailhead and Boise Entrepreneur Week for the third year running. Honored to contribute to these important initiatives. Here's to more productive collaboration in 2025! Happy New Year!
