Our team had the privilege of attending the 2025 Idaho Appreciation Lunch this past Monday – From Refugees to Legislators!? This annual event is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of refugee communities in Idaho. It was an honor to connect with lawmakers and fellow community members, sharing stories, food, and important conversations about refugee resettlement.? The lunch also highlighted the incredible support of local organizations and businesses, all coming together to make Idaho a welcoming place for refugees.? Global Talent in 2024: 19 professionals reclaimed their careers, achieving an average salary increase of $37,000. 83 job seekers from 22 countries received individualized career coaching. The participants included educators, physicians, attorneys, accountants, engineers, web developers, pilots, and others. 75+ volunteers offered practice interviews, mentoring, and resume reviews. Launched the Global Talent Mentoring Network, connecting industry professionals with newly hired alumni for professional development coaching to help them thrive in the American workplace.
