GLOBAL PRODUCTS INCORPORATED (GPI) was founded in 1997 as a Michigan based, family owned Manufacturers’ Representative Agency. Our owner has 50+ years experience in the automotive industry with over 20 years served at Chrysler Corporation. GPI was formed based on his years served as a purchasing agent at Chrysler Corporation and later as an automotive sales representative for several large Tier 1 suppliers. GPI sales representatives meet regularly with upper level management, buyers, purchasing agents, and engineers to promote each commodity manufactured by its clients. After identifying these key contacts, it is important to set up meetings to introduce the company, show samples of products currently in production and offer technical data that demonstrates the quality of the products. Technical data that support low PPM levels, low warranty and overall focus on quality, can be excellent tools to help make a good first impression on the potential customer. Finally, our ultimate goal is to obtain Request For Quotations which allow the client to demonstrate their price competitiveness and thus receive the coveted Purchase Orders.
