#WomensHistoryMonth spotlight: Sarah Burchell Within our Issuer Solutions business, Sarah is responsible for client commercial deal standards and client contracting for the UK, Ireland, Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia, Middle East and Africa regions. This includes the high-pressure environment where she supports new business opportunities and client renewals. Her advice to others starting out in her field: Learn about all aspects of the business, whether operations, client service, technology, or others. Spend time in roles in those areas first. Gaining experience as you go and grow will serve you well. Negotiating a deal with a bank or financial institution, for example, requires you to navigate many topics and have the right network! The skill(s) she admires most in a good leader are: Empathy, loyalty, trust, engagement and clarity of communication, creating the space to let others contribute. What she appreciates most about her team: I appreciate my team's dedication, hard work and prowess. We are a small but growing team, with differing styles and approaches. I am really excited to see how we continue to blend and utilise those in the coming months. We celebrate inspiring leaders like Sarah.

It’s been back-to-back wins for the Atlanta Hawks and our team members! #WomensHistoryMonth spotlight: Jessie Nord Seamless tools for team members are critical to providing a smooth experience for our customers. Jessie leads the technical teams responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the essential applications team members rely on daily. From HR and recruiting systems to accounting and finance tools, her team ensures these platforms effectively support business operations. Her advice to others starting out in her field: “Take every opportunity to listen in on production issue calls, especially in IT. You'll gain valuable insights into how systems interact, how problems are diagnosed and resolved, and how different teams collaborate under pressure. Also, don’t limit yourself to your role—build relationships with peers in other departments to understand how the business operates as a whole. A broader perspective will help you see how your work contributes to the bigger picture and open doors to new opportunities.” The skill(s) she admires most in a good leader are: 1?? Collaboration & Inclusivity – Great leaders bring people together, fostering an environment where every team member feels heard and valued. They rally their teams toward a common goal while actively seeking and appreciating diverse perspectives. 2?? Authenticity – The best leaders stay true to their values and character, regardless of the situation or audience. Their honesty and consistency build trust and inspire others to do the same. 3?? Strategic Thinking – Strong leaders don’t just react to challenges; they anticipate opportunities and define clear, forward-looking paths to success. They balance adaptability with long-term vision, ensuring the team and business stay ahead. We celebrate inspiring leaders like Jessie.

Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day are important opportunities to pause and celebrate the many exceptional women who contribute to our company’s success every day. We do that by highlighting women across our organization and giving voice to the skills and attributes they value in their roles. #WomensHistoryMonth spotlight: Dara Steele-Belkin Since her last spotlight in 2022, Dara has taken on the new role of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this position, she is responsible for all of the company’s legal, data privacy, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance matters worldwide. The skill(s) she admires most in a good leader: A strong sense of empathy is one of the traits I most admire in good leaders. Having (and showing) empathy means you understand another's perspective and the emotions and experience that accompany that perspective. This understanding can be crucial to good leadership, as it fosters community and helps the leader to anticipate and address issues or interactions in a way that enables more positive outcomes for all involved. What she appreciates most about her team: There is so much to appreciate about my team members and colleagues at Global Payments, but the one that stands out in my mind is work ethic. Global Payments team members are incredibly hard working and dedicated to their jobs. Our culture of excellence demands it, and our team members rise to the occasion each and every time. We celebrate inspiring leaders like Dara.
