We are a non-governmental organization that is making a real difference in the world by repurposing leftover, surplus, and unwanted paint to benefit underserved communities and individuals. Our goal is to reduce waste and environmental impact by collecting and recycling paint, and then redistributing it to those in need. Here's why Global Paint for Charity is so awesome: Paint Collection: We collect paint that would otherwise be thrown away, making a big impact on reducing waste and helping the environment. Recycling: Global Paint for Charity processes and filters the collected paint to ensure it's top quality for reuse. Impact: Providing paint can bring about significant positive changes in communities, like better living conditions, creating painting jobs, and making public spaces look better. Global Reach: We help out in various countries where getting affordable paint can be tough. Community Engagement: The organization often gets local communities and volunteers involved in painting projects, promoting community empowerment and collaboration. Sustainability: Global Paint for Charity is all about sustainable practices and reducing paint waste by recycling and reusing paint. Global Paint for Charity (GPC) is seeking larger storage facilities and trucks in cities like Miami, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Macon, and Dallas, as well as small storage containers for volunteers to collect more paint. We are also looking for new volunteers, advisors, and board members with expertise in fundraising, public policy, logistics, global corporate relations, and communications, and we need a program director and marketing officers. Leftover paint pollution and water contamination are significant problems. In 2020, over 2 billion gallons of latex paint were produced, and this number is expected to double by 2050. Currently, less than 7% of paint is recycled, and more than 100 million gallons end up in landfills, polluting soil and water sources every year.
