Stratably and Consulterce recently released their 2025 Amazon Profitability & Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN) study, and their insights present several key findings: ??? 37% of brands are reporting tougher negotiations this year. While that's an improvement from 49% in 2024, the pressure is still on. ? Amazon’s top asks include higher base accruals (51% of brands), more promotional spend (47%), and supply chain program participation (46%). ?? 64% of brands have received cost-decrease requests from Amazon, but 43% plan to raise prices instead. ?? 51% of brands expect trade terms to rise by an average of 71 basis points post-negotiations.
