We're thrilled to congratulate our client Irving Tissue on their continued growth and investment in Georgia! Their recent announcement of a $600 million expansion at the Macon facility will create 100 new jobs and further solidify their presence as a valued employer in the region. Since our initial work with them in 2017, Irving has invested $1.5 billion and created 400 jobs, and now, with this expansion, they’re adding even more capacity to produce premium household paper products. Our GLS team had a great time last week at the Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina Cornhole Tournament! Didi Caldwell, Sara Haubold, Lindsay Diehl, and Josh Germany teamed up and came so close to winning – it was some stiff competition! We’re proud to support such a worthy cause that raised $7,500 to fund JA’s incredible learning experiences for students in the Upstate. These funds will help prepare the next generation for financial and career success. Great job, JA, and thanks to everyone who participated! ??

Global Location Strategies is excited to work alongside Economic Development Partnership of Alabama and Made in Alabama - Alabama Department of Commerce to evaluate properties that have applied for the second year of SEEDS grant funding. Alabama continues to invest heavily in site development to increase their investment-readiness statewide. Cedric Colbert, Hayden Furman and I had the chance to make a quick pit stop yesterday at one of the historic sites where the Tuskegee Airmen trained. Looking forward to the two weeks ahead and more memorable experiences across Alabama!
