Here is a powerful reminder from Thandiwe Chidavarume, of Women and Land in Zimbabwe, about the urgent need for climate justice. Women, especially rural and indigenous women, are at the forefront of the climate crisis despite being the least responsible for it. Women and Land in Zimbabwe is working to eliminate gender discrimination in land access and ownership, support women in all their diversity to build a just and sustainable future.

Grassroots organizations already know what they need to create lasting social change. Now, they need funders to show up with trust and resources. In Sudan, our partner is feeding tens of thousands every day through community kitchens. Because of core, unrestricted funding, they can adapt fast and do what’s needed, when it’s needed.
