We invest in bold ideas, helping grassroots organizations scale and deepen their impact to reach more children in need.
关于我们
Global Fund for Children partners to build a world where all children and youth enjoy equal resources and opportunities in society and live free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation. We do this by investing in innovative, grassroots organizations that provide children and youth with the resources to reach their full potential and advance their rights worldwide. In the fight for children’s rights, too many great ideas go unheard and unfunded. Global Fund for Children is here to change that. We discover grassroots organizations pursuing bold ideas, and provide the funding, coaching, and connections to give those ideas a chance to work. We take smart risks that others don’t, walking alongside our partners to help them develop and succeed, so that, together, we can build a future where all children and youth are safe, strong, and valued.

Today, on the third anniversary of Russia’s war on #Ukraine, we are resharing this powerful video from our Ukraine Program Specialist, Oksana, who returned home in September last year for the first time since the war began. She shares her reflections on what life in Ukraine looks like today. At Global Fund for Children, we continue to stand with Ukraine. Through our Emergency Response Fund, we are supporting grassroots organizations providing food, shelter, psychosocial support, and education to children and families affected by the war. As the war continues, so does our commitment to helping communities rebuild and heal. ??? Watch the video below.

Last week, our Co-CEO, Hayley Roffey, joined a panel at The Conduit, where funders and young leaders came together to discuss the challenges, barriers, and opportunities in resourcing youth-led organizations. The conversation explored how funders can move beyond traditional models, build meaningful partnerships, and ensure young leaders have the resources they need to drive real change. With youth-led initiatives at the forefront of tackling urgent global issues, these discussions are essential in shifting power and fostering more inclusive, trust-based funding approaches.

While progress has been made, there’s still much work to do to ensure more funding reaches grassroots organizations. After much reflection, we’ve decided to leave X. Over the years, we’ve shared stories, championed community-based organizations, and raised awareness about critical issues affecting children and young people worldwide. But platforms evolve, and so do we. While we won’t be posting there anymore, our commitment to children’s rights and community-based leadership remains as strong as ever. Stay connected with us here and on our other channels for updates on our work. If you need to reach us, visit our website or connect with us on Facebook, and Instagram. Thank you for being part of this journey.
