Today is the World Immunization Day! This topic is a bit controversial in the world full of fake news and hoax, therefore we need to stress the vital importance of vaccines and celebrate their impact! Immunization is one of the most effective ways to prevent deadly diseases, save lives and create healthier societies worldwide. We celebrate the power of vaccines in protecting individuals and communities around the globe. Vaccines have helped to eradicate and control diseases like smallpox, polio, and measles, and continue to protect millions from infections that in the past took countless lives. However, millions of children still miss out on routine vaccines, putting them at risk for preventable diseases. This may be a challenge not only in third world countries, where access is limited, but also in developed countries, where they are often available for free. Please, spread the awareness and share the importance of vaccination! ??-Stay up to date with your vaccinations to protect yourself and those around you. ??-Share the importance of vaccines with family, friends, and communities. ??-Advocate for accessible immunization programs for all, especially in low-resource areas. Let`s try to help creating a world where every child, no matter where they live, has access to life-saving vaccines. #WorldImmunizationDay #VaccinesWork #ImmunizeForAll #HealthForAll #EndPreventableDiseases #ProtectTheFuture #GCT_awareness #HealthMatters #SupportTheFight #AwarenessIsPower #ResearchMatters #CRO #clinicalresearch #clinicaltrials

November is Stomach and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month: Early Detection is Key Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-diagnose cancers, but awareness and education can help save lives. Stomach cancer, also known as gastric cancer, is often diagnosed in the later stages, which is why awareness and early detection are critical. Both Stomach and Pancreatic cancer often go unnoticed until it has reached advanced stages, which makes awareness so important. Risk Factors: While the exact cause of pancreatic cancer isn’t known and stomach cancer is not always preventable,?certain factors can increase the risk: ???Age: Risk increases with age, particularly after 60. ???Family History: A family history of pancreatic or stomach cancer can increase your risk. ???Chronic Conditions: Diabetes, chronic pancreatitis, or liver disease can contribute to pancreatic cancer, some inherited conditions, like Lynch syndrome, increase susceptibility to stomach cancer. ???Lifestyle Factors: Smoking, a poor diet, alcohol consumption and obesity are also linked to higher risk. High-salt, low-fiber diets, and frequent consumption of smoked or pickled foods may increase risk of stomach cancer. Signs and Symptoms Pancreatic and stomach cancer may not show symptoms until it's advanced and are hard to detect early, some signs to watch for include: ???Unexplained weight loss ???Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes) ???Persistent stomach pain or discomfort ???Trouble swallowing ???Feeling full after eating small amounts ???Abdominal pain or back pain ???Loss of appetite ???Digestive issues like nausea, vomiting, or bloating ???New-onset diabetes or sudden changes in blood sugar levels Early Detection: Pancreatic and stomach cancer are often diagnosed too late, which is why routine screenings or awareness of family history is crucial. If you have any of the risk factors or symptoms, it's important to talk to your doctor and get evaluated. Although there are no standard screening tests for the general population, clinical trials and advanced imaging techniques are improving early detection. Support & Hope More research, funding, and awareness are urgently needed to improve outcomes for pancreatic and stomach cancer patients. Every voice, every story, and every donation helps pave the way for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Wear purple, share information, and support organizations fighting pancreatic and stomach cancer. This month, let’s raise our voices, increase awareness, and stand together in the fight against these tough diseases.
