Spring is finally here and we got to embrace the warmth of new beginnings as we stepped into Nowruz with the Glidewell family! ? In a heartfelt gathering, Jim Glidewell and Parvina Glidewell, along with their daughter Lila, celebrated the Persian New Year with an enchanting blend of tradition and family. Parvina recited a moving poem in Farsi by the legendary Hafiz, with Lila echoing her sentiments in English, creating a bridge between generations and cultures. The chosen poem, a beacon of hope and prosperity for the year ahead, was selected by Jim, setting a fortune-filled tone for us all. ? As the Santur and Daf played, filling the air, our celebration was lifted by laughter, dance, and a feast that brought us all closer. It’s moments like these that remind us of the joy and unity that life offers, mirroring the care we bring to every smile we craft. ? Here's to a year of joy, health, and thriving friendships. Every week is busy, and we sure love it that way! Last week, Glidewell hosted SHIFT6 — the sixth installment of the SHIFT workshops, which facilitate leadership conversations between dental professionals from across the world. Started in 2022 by visionary Dr. Sreenivas Koka, SHIFT stands for Shaping the Future of Implant Dentistry. The workshops have been held everywhere from New Jersey to Greece, and we were proud to host the event on our campus this time around. I think I can speak for all of us in attendance when I say that the presentations and panel discussions were nothing short of enlightening.
