GLIDE's Social Justice Academy is back with its second cohort! This January, we welcomed ten leaders with lived experience of substance use, all ready to sharpen their skills in policy advocacy and community organizing. Over the next 24 weeks, they'll dive into workshops, site visits, and research projects, gaining the tools to drive real change. So far, they've connected with GLIDE's Health Empowerment and Access Team, explored community health initiatives with CSJ's policy team, and visited the Homeless Prenatal Program. And there's more ahead—trips to City Hall, media advocacy training with our marketing and communications team, and a visit to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
