I'm back in London this week with my partner, Russ Jones, leading our first in-person Glenbrook Partners Payments Boot Camp?? in Europe this year. While we've moved most of our public and private sessions to the online/virtual area since the pandemic, it's always great to be face-to-face with our clients for several consecutive days. The UK and EU payments landscape is always a challenge to keep up with in both our consulting and education work, as the rate of change is high, regulation evolves relatively quickly, and there's always a ton happening from an innovation perspective. As I posted a couple of weeks ago, we're now grappling with what the future of payments regulation will look like in the UK after the government announced that the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) will be axed and much of its function will be absorbed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). One thing about payments: Things never stand still for a long time. #payments #education #fintech
