Verify SOC 2 Type II compliance Your generative AI provider and their subprocessors (like LLM vendors) should be SOC 2 Type II compliant—this is the minimum standard for protecting against data leaks. ?? Check for GDPR compliance if you’re in Europe If you or your customers are based in Europe, verify that your AI solution is GDPR-compliant and follows the Data Privacy Framework for any data stored in the US. ?? Ask for a private connection for extra security For even stronger privacy, ask your AI provider to use the same public cloud where your data is hosted and create a private link between your systems and theirs. Keep your customer data safe by making sure any AI you use meets these essentials.
