Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc., serves 21 central and southeastern Indiana counties by distributing food to pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other agencies that directly serve the hungry in Indiana. For every $1 donated, Gleaners can provide the equivalent of 8 meals to those in need. Gleaners also has a variety of direct service programs that directly target our most vulnerable populations, such as children and the elderly.
All of Gleaners'? programs and services share the common goal of getting food directly into the hands of those who need it most. Besides providing food to food pantries, homeless shelters, senior apartments, and community centers, Gleaners directly serves hungry Hoosiers through 6 distinct programs:

> Summer Meals for Kids
> School Based Pantries
> Gleaners Drive-Thru Pantry

In 2024, Gleaners served more neighbors than ever before. We of course witnessed increasing hunger in our community, but the year was defined by how we all came together to meet that need. With your help, Gleaners is expanding in new ways that allow us to feed and shorten our pantry lines. We completed a 30,000-square-foot freezer expansion. We hosted our inaugural fundraising event and collected critical dollars for our growing food acquisition fund. We're launching a new E-commerce platform that will prioritize our neighbors' choice in food when they receive assistance. All these things play a massive role in easing hunger throughout our 21-service counties. Thank you for stepping up when our community needed it most in 2024, and we look forward to you being part of our 2025!
