That’s a wrap on our 2024 Glass Week in the Glass City. Thrilled we could welcome over 500 attendees and exhibitors to the 85th Glass Problems Conference, a post-Covid conference high. Toledo was a great choice, both for the many manufacturers and suppliers in the area, and also the welcome from the city, including opening remarks by Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz. We’ll be announcing the 2025 GPC location in October!

GMIC is seeking nominees from member companies for our 2024 glass industry awards program. We're excited to announce two new awards this year: Women in Glass, sponsored by the Air Products Foundation, and the Glass Innovator Award, sponsored by CelSian. We'll also announce the second Glass Manufacturing Excellence Award, recognizing individuals making significant contributions on the shop floor. The awards will be presented at the 85th Glass Problems Conference in Toledo, Ohio, USA on September 16, 2024, and the deadline to apply is August 15.
