Congratulations to our Director of Administrative Services, Tina Wood, for graduating from Southeast Tourism Society’s Marketing College! This program has been been in existence for over 20 years as a continuing education course for travel and tourism industry professionals. The curriculum is specific to teaching marketing specifics for all areas of the industry through tourism professionals identified as experts in their fields from across the country. After completing the three-year curriculum, students will be deemed Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) certifications. If students complete the three year curriculum for the additional Festival & Event Planner (FEP) certification they will also earn that title. After three years of hard work, Tina is officially a TMP AND an FEP! We couldn’t be prouder! ?? #thefacesbehindthebrand

Our Guest Experience Specialist, Candy Vasquez, graduated from Elevate Kentucky this summer. Elevate Kentucky is a Leadership Kentucky, Inc. program that “offers young professionals in-depth personal and professional development while fostering a better understanding of the challenges facing our Commonwealth. Elevate participants return to their companies with increased skills, knowledge, perspective, and a new statewide professional network. Millennial leaders are better prepared to be catalysts in their companies and communities in an effort to ELEVATE Kentucky.” After coming out of a competitive application process, the accepted group traveled to Owensboro, Pikeville, Frankfort, and Northern Kentucky over the course of 3 months for sessions full of morning-to-evening programming.
