Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share the incredible Q1 milestones that we've achieved at the GLAM4GOOD FOUNDATION! Starting in January, I was honored to speak to 200 students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. It was a great privilege to share my #GLAM4GOOD founder's journey with so many bright minds and future social entrepreneurs.
Next up, #GLAM4GOOD announced a continuation of our philanthropic partnership with Ulta Beauty. This partnership has repurposed and redirected close to $1,000,000 worth of unused beauty products to Americans in need. I am proud of our groundbreaking work with #ULTABEAUTY to put sustainability at the forefront of this partnership to uplift our recipients and the earth!
We were also thrilled to partner this quarter with our first University, Boston University Newbury Center & Boston University College of General Studies, to create a pop-up shop for hundreds of first-generation students in need of warm winter clothing, self-care products, school and job attire. We've empowered high schools across the country and this was a great first opportunity to start impacting college students nationwide!
In March, to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay, we partnered with DIME Beauty Co and held a pop-up shop in #NewYorkCity at a public high-school to give 700 young women with much-needed career attire!
And, ending out Q1, we were happy and grateful to be picked as the charity of choice for Zadig&Voltaire's #ARTISHOPE campaign!
I am extremely proud of all we have achieved these last couple of months and blown away my amazing team, with Executive Director Morgan Kelly (go Morgan!), Finance Director Nina Kulmala and Impact Director Jason Felton at the helm!
THANK YOU all for letting me unload so many updates on this post and for your continued support of the GLAM4GOOD FOUNDATION! Some highlights pics below!
