AirCargo Conference once again delivered a week of unmissable industry insights and collaboration. The conference began on Sunday with a golf tournament at Texas Rangers Golf Club, proudly sponsored by GK9. Thank you to everyone who joined us in kickstarting AirCargo 2025 with a bit of friendly competition. ? Monday began with an incredibly engaging keynote from Mikey McBryan of Buffalo Airways, about the trials and tribulations of running an airline in the Northern territories of Canada, followed by The Airforwarders Association members' meeting. The discussions, membership polls, and industry updates provided plenty of valuable insights, with GK9’s CEO, Eric Hare, contributing to the conversation on K9 screening regulations. That evening, we were pleased to host the GK9-sponsored event at Sports & Social. A big thank you again to all who attended and made it such a great opportunity to network. On Tuesday, the sessions continued, with a standout discussion on compliance, featuring Brandon Fried, Arnoud Wink, Aaron Ambrite, James Van Epps, Brenda Smith, Jonathan Todd, and chaired by Sandy G.. The conference ended with the closing ceremony - sponsored by Allstates WorldCargo - bringing attendees together one last time. GK9’s new UK division has been in the UAE visiting the Dubai Police K-9 unit HQ. ???? Our UK Director, Andrew Jones, and UK Operations Manager, Andrew Smith, were joined by a team of K9 specialists to deliver K9s to the Dubai Police Force. The GK9 team worked with the Dubai Police to ensure the latest group of trained K9s was properly integrated into operational units, with Smith also leading lectures on the tactical deployment of K9 teams. The visit allowed for the smooth and efficient handover of K9s, trained at our facility in Chester, UK, to Dubai’s central hub for K9 handling, and the opportunity to provide essential training surrounding their use. We look forward to further supporting K9s operations around the world. ?? #GK9 #K9Training
