For many foundations, all things move through the grants management system, so it's important that your system has the bones to support all that you do. ??

In Technology Association of Grantmakers' latest Philanthropy Tech survey, GivingData was among four grants management systems with the highest usage among respondents and is a leading choice for family foundations. Here are a few more data points that stood out to us: ?? 21% of respondents use their GMS as a CRM ?? 31% of respondents reported increases in the scale of their DEI efforts, meaning they have more resources, funds, and initiatives dedicated to DEI in 2024 than they did in 2022 ?? For those grantmakers leveraging AI, most report a rudimentary usage of generative AI for tasks such as: Meeting notes/video transcription (71%); and Drafting report, emails and memos (67%) Thank you, TAG, for another insightful report! A key innovation I discovered today is Grant Guardian, an AI-powered financial due diligence platform developed by The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation. I am excited about Grant Guardian's upcoming launch, which promises to benefit the entire philanthropic community and optimize our financial due diligence.
