No child deserves to grow up without parents, food, or shelter. No mother deserves to live on the streets, without a roof over her head and a way to provide for her children. No widow should struggle financially to obtain food and basic necessities after the loss of a loved one and/or breadwinner. These are current injustices faced daily by millions around the world. Giving Hearts International (GHI) tackles these global challenges in three primary ways: finding loving parents for orphans in Russia and Ukraine, sponsoring food aid for undernourished children from impoverished families and building shelters for at-risk mothers and children. GHI’s objective is to directly impact 1,000 children's lives over the course of 15 years. GHI partners with local agencies in Ukraine and Russia, who are currently helping at-risk youth, destitute mothers, and others in critical need. These reliable partners distribute food aid and intervene in the lives of vetted children and mothers. We cannot change the entire world, but by having fed over 3,500 children and having helped with the purchase of family style orphan homes to facilitate adoptions, we understand where the greatest pain and need is. GHI has been successfully helping transform the lives of children and mothers since 2015.
