Last week, a men’s group from Cross Point Church Hendersonville completed a Both Hands group project, serving Ms. Gail as part of their annual Serve Week. Ms. Gail, Cross Point’s Dollar Club recipient from November 2023, received a new shed and help with landscaping, decluttering, and prepping her home for winter. We’ve got three Both Hands projects coming up this weekend! The Kirby family from Frederick, MD, the Hines family from Katy, TX, and the Livingston family from Clinton, MS, will be completing Both Hands projects to raise funds for their adoptions while fixing up a widow’s home in their communities. This Veterans Day, we honor all who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. Ms. Melanie, a local widow and dedicated United States Marine Corps veteran, is a remarkable example of that service. Recently, Grace Chapel Young Adults completed a Both Hands group project at her home in Columbia, TN. They made much-needed repairs and served as the hands and feet of Jesus to this incredible widow who has given so much. Big project weekend coming up! The Burt family from Canton, OH, the Wieringa family from Columbia City, IN, the Cudsik family from Senoia, GA, the VanBuskirk family from Powhatan, VA, the O’Connor family from Debary, FL, the Stephens family from Richwood, OH, and the Gurr family from Albany, GA, will all be doing service projects for widows in their communities while raising funds to cover their adoption expenses. Additionally, the Ramsey SmartDollar team did a group project yesterday in Nashville, TN, while raising sponsorship for their day of service, which will go toward adoption matching grants for Both Hands families.
