There’s nothing better than witnessing your peers use their skills to help the community. Today, I visited the GiveBackHack startup showcase and saw the talented this city possesses. Congratulations to the winners! I’m excited to see these projects take off.

I’m very happy to announce that after spending this weekend doing research, reviewing data, building a prototype, putting together a pitch deck, and having lots and lots and lots of conversations - my team was one of the winners of this year’s GiveBackHack! This weekend we pitched the Freedom Pipeline - an online platform to help returning citizens find long-term freedom post-incarceration. A HUGE thank you to?GiveBackHack?for being our launchpad and to the other teams, judges, mentors, and everyone who was willing to share their experience with us. More news to come!
