Give A Hand is a club associated with Northeastern University that focuses on innovation and technology-driven solutions. We aim to create prosthetic hands more efficiently and explore new ways to assist individuals in need. Secondly, we're committed to fostering leadership skills within our club members. This branch provides an avenue for our members to take charge, lead initiatives, and drive innovation in the field of prosthetics. Together, we're not only making prosthetic hands but also shaping leaders who will contribute to transformative change in healthcare technology.

    Meet Navya and Ireh, the project leads for the Design & Build Team! "The goal of this team is to learn and grow different mechanical techniques that can produce builds for those in need. This is done specifically through workshops, such as CAD & Fusion, 3D Printing, and Building workshops that will build a 3D prosthetic hand for Give a Hand patients around the world. Currently, we are building a 3D prosthetic hand for Diego, one of our patients from Mexico. We are excited to see what we can achieve for others this semester!"

    I am overjoyed to announce that I have accepted my first Co-op with TScan Therapeutics as a Research Associate on their Preclinical Development Team! I am extremely grateful to Shannon Macomber and Shubhangi Kamalia, as well as everyone I have spoken to at TScan thus far, for supporting me throughout the application process and extending this extraordinary opportunity to me. I would also like to thank my Co-op Advisor, Jake Walker, and my friends and family for supporting me throughout this journey. I cannot wait to start in July as I am so excited to learn from everyone at Tscan and contribute to the revolutionary work they are doing!
