Advancing women’s progress could add $12 trillion to global GDP by 2025. That’s equivalent to the entire economies of Japan, Germany, and the UK combined. At Girls Inc. of NYC, we’re equipping girls to step into that economic power. You can join us! Become a monthly donor with just $5/month through the Accelerate Her Society. ?? https://lnkd.in/eVv8fDHB #GirlsIncNYC #WomensHistoryMonth

Thank you to all who joined us at our Junior Board Spring Soirée at the Astor House!? It was truly a night to remember, with drinks, dancing, and a curated journey through women’s history. We were inspired by the words of Girls Inc. NYC students, Junior Board Co-Chairs Sarah Hynds and Margaret Talbot, and our CEO, Pam Maraldo. Also, thank you to our Junior Board for an unforgettable evening! Special shoutout to event co-chairs Kelly McVeigh and Cameron Wang, as well as our sponsors, in-kind donors, and amazing volunteers who made this night possible! #GirlsIncNYC

We had an inspiring time at the Girls Inc. National Luncheon on March 11! We are proud of Vivian, our alumna and Project REACH participant, for her powerful keynote address. Our student ambassadors celebrated the strength, intelligence, and boldness we champion. Special thanks to the National office for organizing this event. We were inspired by Auli‘i Cravalho's empowering words: “You are powerful not because someone gives you permission but because it is who you are.” Dr. Malena Rice's idea of "radical optimism," rooted in the wonders of the universe, reminded us of the potential in girls and young women. #GirlsIncNYC

On March 27, 2025, we will host our Annual Conference, Elevate Her Essence, at 99 Scott Studio in Brooklyn. This event brings together young leaders, changemakers, and advocates for a day of meaningful dialogue and dynamic workshops. Our goal is to create a positive, safe space where girls and gender-expansive students can be equipped with the knowledge and skills to live healthy lives. Last year's conference focused on mental health and self-care, gathering over 1,000 participants. We're excited to continue this year with this powerful experience.
