These Girl Scouts made memories that will last them a lifetime on a recent visit to the Massachusetts Statehouse. ??? While waiting for a Statehouse tour, Girl Scout Troops 77318 and 76200 had a few very special experiences: ?? State Senator Michael Rodrigues gave them a tour of the Senate chamber and the beautiful statehouse balcony! ? State Representatives Carole Fiola and Stephen Ouellette welcomed them into the House of Representatives chamber, sat at legislative desks and stood on the rostrum while they recited the Girl Scouts' promise and law! ?? Governor Maura Healey stepped out of a meeting to say hello and take pictures with these lucky Girl Scouts.

Our 32nd Annual Leading Women Awards event was a huge success. Thank you to all who showed up to support our Girl Scouts in such a monumental way. Finally, thank you to our amazing Leading Women honorees and their Gold Award Girl Scout counterparts—Christine Schuster, Lynn Perry Wooten, Grace Lee, Jossira, Sanya, and Tracey. We already can't wait for next year! ??: Mel O. Photo

The Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Leading Women Awards was not only an energizing event for me but also a meaningful experience for my daughter, who I brought with me this year. As a 5th-grade Junior working toward her Bronze Award, she was inspired by Mia, the Silver Award Girl Scout at our table and the three Gold Award Girl Scouts on stage. She was thrilled to shake hands with Monica Roberts, GSEMA’s new CEO, and Deb Taft, GSEMA’s Board Chair and President, who both made her feel welcome and valued. She walked away realizing that “Girl Scouts is so much more than just another fun activity with friends” and already asked if she can go to next year's event. ?? ?? Thank you, Monica and Deb, for your leadership, and to GSEMA for creating spaces where girls can see what’s possible and be inspired to aim higher. And I would be remiss not to mention the growing number of magenta scarves around the room, a powerful reminder of the shared commitment of GSEMA’s Women’s Advisory Network to supporting the next generation of Girl Scouts. ?

I had the privilege of attending the recent Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Leading Women luncheon along with some AAFCPAs colleagues in support of our wonderful client! It was an inspiring event that highlighted the incredible #impact of Girl Scouts on young girls, including my own daughter who joined this past year. Having tried several team sport activities without much enjoyment, my daughter found her true passion in Girl Scouts. The transformation in her confidence has been remarkable. The words of the CEO at the luncheon resonated deeply with me: “If there is nowhere else she feels she belongs, she belongs at Girl Scouts.” This statement perfectly captures the sense of community and belonging that Girl Scouts provides. The CEO began her remarks by asking the audience to name the one word that describes Girl Scouts, and many enthusiasticly shouted “cookies.” However, she concluded her speech by encouraging us to think of different words when we hear “Girl Scouts” in the future: Inspiring, Empowering, Change, Leadership, Hope. These words truly hit home for me, as they encapsulate the experiences and growth my daughter has had through her first year of Girl Scout adventures. I am grateful for the opportunities Girl Scouts has given my daughter and look forward to seeing her continue to thrive in this empowering environment. Here’s to more adventures and the lasting impact of Girl Scouts on our future leaders. Also, look how cute my little Girl Scout cookie is!! #greatmindsgreathearts #AAFtenpercentback Nichole Reilly, CPA, MBA, Jean Clark, Kimberly Lewis, MSA, Natasha Walth

We had an amazing time celebrating our partnership with Suffolk Construction at their Boston headquarters. More than two dozen Girl Scouts, alongside Suffolk volunteers, troop leaders, and several local media organizations gathered to celebrate this program designed to uplift women and girls in STEM. Feeling energized and inspired after attending today’s Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Leading Women Awards! It was an honor to host a table of amazing Girl Scouts, dedicated volunteers, and Citizens leaders. Listening to the incredible stories of how Girl Scouts has positively shaped the lives of so many and witnessing the passion for nurturing our future leaders was truly inspiring. Kudos to Monica Roberts and her entire team for orchestrating another successful fundraising event and congratulations to the leaders and Girl Scouts honored today! #GirlScouts #Inspiration #FutureLeaders #CitizensColleague

I am deeply proud to represent The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University as an Ambassador at the 32nd Annual Leading Women Awards! ?? The Girl Scouts of Eastern MA hosted a magical event showcasing remarkable female leaders who displayed outstanding resilience and leadership, and strong community dedication. ??? I express my sincere gratitude to the The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University for providing this learning opportunity.
