Last week, our Girl Security team hit the road! Monica Sanchez , Program Manager, and Jane Pak, Program Assistant, had the opportunity to visit three of our incredible Chicago programs: Peace and Education Coalition High School, Back of the Yards College Prep, and Argo Community High School. We were so impressed with all of the participants and absolutely LOVED listening to their great ideas! Their passion, curiosity, and commitment to learning continue to inspire us, and we’re grateful for the chance to connect and support their journeys. A huge thank you to our partners and participants for welcoming us—we can’t wait to be back! ?? #GirlSecurity

We’re so proud of all of our Fellows! Happy Graduation!
It’s a bittersweet feeling to have graduated from such an amazing program. I have spent 15 weeks being mentored by so many intelligent and experienced women, and I could not be more grateful for the experience. Beyond the knowledge I have gained throughout my time as a Girl Security National Fellow, I have made so many great connections with so many motivated and like-minded individuals. As this experience comes to an end, I want to thank Stephanie Pillion for being the best Power Pack Lead by not only guiding our group through our seminars but turning each session into a bonding experience with your icebreakers. I look forward to the opportunities that come with being an alum of Girl Security, and I am hopeful that one day I can take on the role of mentor the way these women have become for me.
