Surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, they collaborated, strategized, and envisioned the future of Girl Scouts in our council. ?? Exciting News! ??Girl Scouts of Gateway Council is proud to be selected as one of fifteen finalists for the 2024 Impact 100 Pensacola grant! Our proposal aims to bring Girl Scout Troops to 11 new after-school sites in partnership with Escambia County School District and Creative School Age Childcare, providing opportunities for more than 250 girls. By removing barriers to participation, we are making sure every girl has the chance to experience the power of Girl Scouts! On October 13, 2024, twelve of the fifteen nonprofit finalists will each receive a grant of $100,670 at the IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Annual Meeting. Since its inception, IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area has awarded 153 grants, totaling over $16 million, to nonprofit organizations serving Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. IMPACT 100 is driven by philanthropic women committed to transforming their communities by providing significant financial support to local nonprofits across five focus areas: Arts, Culture & History; Education; Environment & Recreation; Family; Health & Wellness.
