Ciarra recently checked off a major bucket list goal: climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro! ??? Making this once-in-a-lifetime dream a reality took planning, something she learned a bit about in her Girl Scout days. ?? “The process of selling Girl Scout cookies helped teach me to be financially savvy. I worked hard to sell cookies and earn credits that helped pay for Girl Scout trips and activities. Developing this mentality led me to be smart with my money so I would have the funds ready to do something epic when the opportunity came.” Her extensive planning and training paid off as she worked past her fears to make her dream come true. ? “Society teaches women to fear the world. It’s important to be smart and realistic, but fear can limit what we’re capable of doing. Practice getting out of your comfort zone because there’s so many amazing things out there waiting for us to experience in the world once we can push past our fears.” Whether figurative or literal, we’re so impressed by the mountains Girl Scouts conquer each day.
