Choose Lansing held their Annual Meeting to share a recap of 2024 and what the future looks like for 2025 for the Greater Lansing Region. 2024 was a record breaking year for the number of hotel rooms booked in the region which initiates an increase in visitors totaling 6.7 million visitors and 1.1 million hotel rooms booked! 2025 is going to be even better! Together, members of our region came together to invest in the future of our community by raising crucial funds for the region’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, ensuring that the most vulnerable among us receive the care and hope they deserve. Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties is leading the charge in addressing the urgent need for accessible behavioral health crisis services in Greater Lansing. The transformation of the former Greenlawn McLaren Greater Lansing Health Care facility into the Crisis Care Center will provide 24/7 expert support, offering immediate care to stabilize individuals in crisis and reduce the burden on emergency rooms. This center will be a cornerstone of compassionate care for our community. We are proud to have played a role along with Boji Group and Kramer Management Group in making this vision a reality, helping connect the opportunity to repurpose this space and support CMHA-CEI in their mission to enhance behavioral health services for those who need them most.
