?? We are excited to share the news that Economic Development Director Dan Henderson, CEcD has been honored by the International Economic Development Council with the esteemed Jeffrey A. Finkle Organizational Leadership Award. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and a philanthropic spirit throughout their careers. During Dan’s 18-year tenure at the Town of Gilbert, he has helped oversee more than 450 projects that announced nearly 30,000 new or retained jobs and generated over $4 billion in capital investment. Dan worked alongside state, regional, and local partners in economic development, real estate, and infrastructure development to provide this incredible foundation for Gilbert, Arizona to thrive. ?? ?? ?? Earlier this month, Gilbert Economic Development Director Dan Henderson, CEcD and Sr. Project Manager Michael Martella, CEcD, were joined by the teams at Chandler/Gilbert Community College and Mesa Community College to recognize our joint partnership supporting #workforcedevelopment and #careertraining in our community. Since kicking off our scholarship and professional training programs with Maricopa Community Colleges, Gilbert has helped 468 students pursue certificates and degrees in high-demand fields.
